This tool is designed for holding your harmonic balancer during timing belt jobs and other services that require loosening the crank bolt. This tool utilizes the 6 screws on the front of the harmonic balancer that attach the belt pulleys to the balancer.
This tool is specifically useful for automatic transmission cars which are difficult to lock the crankshaft in place to loosen and tighten the crank bolt.
